AGGIES OVERVIEW:  North Carolina A&T finishes the regular season with North Carolina Central on Saturday with the return of #ClubCorbett. The Aggies hold a 32-9 record over the Eagles, including a 13-3 record in Corbett Sports Center.

With the new executive order from North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, A&T's athletics department is allowing fans into Corbett Sports Center. A&T fans will get a chance to see in person one of the best teams in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) in the Aggies.

On Sunday, the Aggies had their 10-game winning streak snapped as Norfolk State took down the Aggies 65-54 in Norfolk, Va.

The Aggies long winning streak was due in part to having one of the best scoring duos in the conference in Chanin Scott and Deja Winters. They are fifth and sixth in the MEAC in scoring, respectively. Winters leads the MEAC with 2.8 3-point field goals made per game and ranks fifth with a 3-point field goal percentage of 33.7 percent. The Aggies defeated the Eagles 87-57 on Feb. 13 and 72-62 on Feb. 14 in Durham, N.C.

The Aggies also benefit from being the best offensive and defensive team in the league. The Aggies average 73.0 points per game while only 52 points per game. Four Aggies rank in the top-10 in the MEAC in field goal percentage, led by junior guard Jasmen Walton's third-place ranking at 46.6 percent. Scott follows her in fourth at 45.6 percent, freshman guard Sean Kelly Darks in ninth at 39.3 percent and Winters in 10th at 39.1 percent. Freshman D'Mya Tucker is shooting 52.2 percent but does not have enough attempts to rank.

Aggie alum Tarrell Robinson leads A&T. Robinson is in his eighth season as head coach. He enters today's game with a 171-91 (.653) record and has the best winning percentage in school history. He is 21 wins shy of becoming the school's all-time leader in wins, and he has posted an impressive 97-29 (.770) record against MEAC opponents without ever having a losing season in league play. Under Robinson, the Aggies have five 20-win seasons, two MEAC tournament titles, three regular-season titles and five postseason appearances.

NCCU EAGLES OVERVIEW: The Eagles last played on Feb. 14 in a 73-65 loss to Georgia Southern. Anissa Rivera leads the Eagles with 16.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Necole Hope is also averaging double-figures at 10.4 points per game.

Head coach Trisha Stafford-Odom leads the Eagles. She is in her fourth season with the Eagles. She led the Eagles to a Division I-record 13 wins while also leading the team to their best record since rejoining the MEAC in 2011-12.

MEAC WEEKLY AWARDS:  The MEAC awarded Scott player of the week again on Monday. It is her fourth player of the week honor in six weeks. Scott averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals while shooting 51.9 percent from the floor in two games last week.

Scott's award is the 11th MEAC award this season for the Aggies, with Scott having four. Five different players have earned those awards. The awarding started on Dec. 15 when the conference named Jones-Pack defensive player of the week. Winters and Tucker followed with co-player of the week and defensive player of the week on Jan. 5.

Darks received rookie of the week on Jan. 12 and Jan. 26. On Feb. 16, Jones-Pack secured another defensive player of the week award on Feb. 16.
