AGGIES OVERVIEW:Â It's a brand-new season and the Aggies are the No. 2 seed heading into the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Tournament. The Aggies received several postseason All-MEAC honors led by acting head coach Will Jones earning coach of the year. Also, junior guard

Fred Cleveland, Jr. made the All-Rookie Team. Langley leads the conference in assists per game at 7.7 and is second in assist-to-turnover ratio. The Aggies are led by Jackson who leads the team in points (14.7) and rebounds per game (10.3).

BISON OVERVIEW:Â The Bison, clocking in as the No. 10 seed in the conference tournament, are coming off of a 70-63 win over No. 7 South Carolina State last night to earn a matchup against the Aggies. Howard is led by senior guard Charles Williams, who is averaging 18.5 points per game this season, and earlier this year, became the MEAC's all-time leading scorer. The Bison are the conference's best three-point shooting team, hitting at a 34.5 percent clip from beyond the arc. Head coach Kenneth Blakeney is in his first year at the helm of the program.

- Last time these two teams met, A&T defeated Howard, 71-67 on Feb. 22.
- In conference games only, the Aggies are first in eight statistical categories (scoring offense, three-point field goal percentage defense, rebounding offense, assists, steals, turnover margin, assist-to-turnover ratio, and defensive rebounds).
- In MEAC games, Aggie forward Ronald Jackson is third in the league in rebounding (12.0 per game) through 16 games. He also has 14 double-doubles this season, tied for 25th in the country.
