AGGIES OVERVIEW:Â The Aggies are a half-game out of first place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and will have the chance to take over first place when they face Norfolk State. N.C. A&T has seen an unbelievable increase in production from junior guard
Kameron Langley since their lone conference loss to Coppin State. In the three games since, the Aggies are 3-0 and Langley is averaging 17.7 points, 12.0 assists and 7.7 rebounds per contest including a triple-double last game against Delaware State (15 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds). The junior leads the conference in assists per game (6.7). He has led the league in assist-to-turnover ratio each of his first two seasons and is currently second. He needs just 51 dimes to break N.C. A&T's all-time record held by Thomas Griffis (582). The Aggies sport the best scoring offense in the league in conference games only, averaging 88.1 points over seven conference games. Acting head coach Will Jones is 7-2 since taking over the program in late December.

SPARTANS OVERVIEW:Â The Spartans sit in first place in the MEAC with a 6-0 record. They are coming off a 95-67 victory over Florida A&M. They sport the second-best scoring defense in league play allowing just 62.5 points per game. The Spartans were picked to finish tied with N.C. A&T for third in the MEAC preseason poll. Senior guard Steven Whitley was voted to the preseason second-team All-MEAC. He is averaging 10.4 points and 4.5 assists per game this season. Their leading scorer is redshirt senior guard Jermaine Bishop who is scoring 14.2 points per night. Head coach Robert Jones is entering his seventh year at the helm and 13
th year overall with the Spartans. He earned MEAC coach of the year last season and is 119-107 overall and 78-24 in the MEAC. Against A&T, Jones is 4-2.
