RICHMOND, Va. – The North Carolina A&T men's basketball team dropped a road contest against VCU, 95-59, Thursday night in non-conference action at the Siegal Center.

Will Jones. "Tough loss, but we moved forward tonight."
The Rams (4-2) led 8-6 before rifling off a 7-0 run to extend their advantage to 15-6 with 4 ½ minutes into the game.
N.C. A&T (2-6) responded cutting the deficit to four 23-19 thanks to a six-point spurt from junior guard
Blake Harris.
That is the closest the Aggies got as VCU held N.C. A&T scoreless over the last four minutes and ballooned their lead 47-26 at halftime.
The Aggies shot 28.6 percent from the field in the first half, a season-low. They also turned the ball over 13 times leading to 18 transition points for the Rams.
In the second half, the Aggies shooting struggles continued and they couldn't cut into the Rams lead. With 12:22 left to play, VCU pushed their lead to 29 after back-to-back 3-pointers from sophomore guard Nah'shon Hyland.
Hyland finished with a game-high 30 points including 7-for-12 shooting from 3-point range. The Rams led by as many as 37 on their way to their second home win of the season.
Junior wing
Tyrone Lyons led the way for the Aggies with 13 points. Harris finished with 12 points while senior guard
Kameron Langley had 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
N.C. A&T will return home to the Corbett Sports Center for a matchup with Western Carolina on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m.
