AGGIES OVERVIEW: North Carolina A&T hosted a Power Five at home for the first time in program history, but fell to the Stanford Cardinal, 78-46, on Sunday afternoon. Preseason All-MEAC third-team member

Kameron Langley had seven points, six rebounds and six assists in the game, but the Aggies lost their top three scorers in Ronald and
Andre Jackson as well as
Devin Haygood. N.C. A&T is shooting 69 percent from the free throw line this year compared to 60 percent last season. The Aggies continue to struggle on the boards, however, being outrebounded 275-191 through six games. Head coach
Will Jones is in his first full season after serving in an interim capacity part of last year and has an overall record of 16-8 (.667).
LANCERS OVERVIEW: The Lancers are coming off a 67-64 loss at the hands of Division III Greensboro College. In the Big South preseason poll, Longwood was projected to finish 8
th and did not have any players receive preseason all-conference honors. The Lancers have a lot of new faces this year with 10 players having not played in a Longwood uniform prior to the season. Their leading scorer is redshirt junior guard Juan Munoz at 13.7 points per game followed closely by freshman guard Justin Hill. Hill is the first Lancer since Michael Kessens (2012-13) to begin his career with three-straight double-figure scoring games. Head coach Griff Aldrich is entering his third season at Longwood and has an overall record of 30-39 and he is 0-1 against the Aggies all-time. Sunday's loss against Greensboro College was the first home opener the Lancers had lost under Aldrich.
