AGGIES OVERVIEW:Â The Aggies are in sole possession of second place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) men's basketball standings, trailing Norfolk State by half a game. Last time out, the Aggies extended their home conference winning streak to 19 games with a victory over Bethune-Cookman, 98-95. This is the fourth time N.C. A&T has scored 90-plus points in conference play. The Aggies have the best scoring offense in the league in MEAC games only averaging 89.2 points per contest. In conference play only, junior guard
Kameron Langley is averaging a league-best 8.7 assists per game and is just 62 dimes shy of breaking N.C. A&T's all-time assist record held by Thomas Griffis. Acting head coach Will Jones is 6-2 since taking over the program in late December. Â

HORNETS OVERVIEW:Â The Hornets are coming off a 72-45 loss to N.C. Central on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles as Delaware State defeated them, 68-66, on Jan. 11. The Hornets were projected to finish 10
th in the MEAC Preseason Poll and currently sit in 7
th. Delaware State is led by John Crosby who averages 21.5 points per game, good for 10
th in the country. The other double-figure scorer for the Hornets is Ameer Bennett, who averages 11.3 points per game. Second-year head coach Eric Skeeters is 8-40 since taking over the program in July 2018.
