Women's Tennis Prepares For Two South Carolina Schools

Women's tennis opened the season with a loss to Elon.

EAST GREENSBORO – North Carolina A&T women's tennis (0-1) are back in action this weekend with a trip to Clemson, S.C., to face Clemson at 2:30 p.m. and to host College of Charleston Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

The College of Charleston match will serve as the Aggies home opener at Aggie Tennis Complex.

N.C. A&T began the season earlier in the week with a 7-0 loss to Elon Tuesday. Renata Ruiz Rabadan and Marlene Estenssoro Pineda lost their first set 6-1 but were more competitive in the second set losing 6-3 at the No. 1 singles and No. 2 singles positions respectively.

Prior to facing the Aggies, Clemson will host Presbyterian Friday in the season opener, while College of Charleston plays two matches prior to the Aggies match with a trip to Gardner-Webb Friday for their season opener and to Wake Forest Saturday morning before traveling to Greensboro.

The Aggies travel to Charlotte, N.C., to face Charlotte Saturday, Jan. 25 at 5 p.m.
