GREENSBORO (February 18, 2017) – Adair Bartra won at No. 4 singles but it was not enough as Longwood earned a 6-1 win over the North Carolina A&T men's tennis team at the Aggie Tennis Complex.

Bartra improved to 2-3 on the season with his other win coming in a match against College of Charleston. Bartra also played well in doubles play despite a loss. He teamed with John Wilson IV in a heartbreaking 7-5 defeat to Arthur Bardelloto and Julian Farthing.

The Aggies No. 1 singles man, Nicolas Arduh won the first set against Florian Uffer 6-1. The two men then batted to a 7-5 contest as Uffer pulled out the win. Arduh dropped the tiebreaker to Uffer. N.C. A&T's Jordan Lawrence was a difficult foe at No. 6. He lost to Lachlan Manser 6-4, 7-6.

N.C. A&T is 0-5 on the season.
