GREENSBORO-The North Carolina A&T women's tennis team was swept by East Carolina on Saturday afternoon at the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Center.

The Aggies (0-4) had a pair of competitive doubles matches as senior April Burrage and freshman Jayla Scott lost 8-3 to Danielle Terpko and Dana Gary at the No. 2 doubles match.  Junior Victorea Austin and freshman Takeyrah Reid lost the No. 3 doubles match by 8-2.

In singles action, the Pirates (3-1) dominated.  Junior Kimberly Stalling and Scott were the only two Aggies to record a point in a set.  The rest of the Aggies were defeated 6-0, 6-0 in the second, fourth, fifth and sixth singles matches. 

The Aggies will travel to face Elon at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16.
