Has been vital in the Aggies resurgence over the first three years of her career ... Plays a vital role for the Aggies offensively and gives them another presence at the net ... Extremely quick off the ground defensively … With her height, she can play above the net which will allows her to put pressure on opposing teams … Has experience at both pins and in the middle offensively and can hit several play sets which will make her fun to watch for Aggie fans … She also enhances the Aggies program academically. In her career, she has played in 67 matches with 181 sets played and has totaled 18 starts … She has recorded 230 kills on 804 total attacks for a career hitting percentage of .284 … Also in her career, she has 189 digs and 58 total blocks …  Helped the Aggies reach the postseason for the first time in school history as they advanced to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) tournament … The following year, helped the Aggies win their first-ever MEAC championship which propelled the Aggies to their first-ever NCAA appearance.

2021 Spring Season: Played in 13 matches with six starts and in 37 sets … Averaged 1.38 kills, 1.41 digs and 0.30 blocks … Recorded a season-high eight kills against Delaware State (April 2) in the MEAC semifinals and a season-high 12 digs with a career-high five blocks … Tied a career-high with two assists against No. 13 Penn State (April 15) in the second round of the NCAA tournament and hit .300 (4-1-10) … In conference play, Richards averaged 1.61 kills, 1.50 digs, 0.22 blocks and 0.22 service aces with a .274 hitting percentage. 

2019 Season: Played in 28 matches and within 70 sets with three starts … Recorded 61 kills, 77 digs and 14 blocks … Recorded a season-high with nine kills in a three-setter against Davidson (Aug. 31) … Set a career-high with three service aces against Drake (Sept. 21) and a career-high .273 hitting percentage against Davidson (Aug. 31) … Recorded a season-high 10 digs against Drake (Sept. 21) and recorded nine digs at South Carolina State (Nov. 6) in a 3-0 win … Averaged 2.5 kills and 1.00 digs against Davidson and Dartmouth.

2018 Season: Played in 84 sets over 26 matches and made nine starts … Recorded 123 kills, 60 digs and 34 blocks and averaged 1.46 kills and 0.40 blocks … Started the season with a season-high 13 kills and added three digs on Sept. 1 … Recorded a season-high .471 hitting percentage at Savannah State on Oct. 6 … Nearly recorded a double-double against Delaware State on Sept. 7 with nine kills and a season-high 15 digs … Posted a season-best four blocks at Coppin State on Sept. 22 and at Savannah State Oct. 6 … Helped the Aggies end a 40-match losing streak to Florida A&M as she posted eight kills and a .294 hitting percentage in the Aggies MEAC tournament semifinal win over the Rattlers. 

High School: Played high school volleyball at Pickerington High School under Eric Hughes … Holds Pickerington career school record for blocks and was honorable mention all-district as a senior … During her final three years was named second-team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference … Academically, she received an Academic Pin and made the Distinguished Honor Roll throughout high school … Played for the Mintonette Volleyball Club under club director Max Miller.
