2014 Outdoor Season: Competed in seven outdoor meets…Helped the 400 meter relay place first at the Charlotte 49er Classic at 40.21… Was on the 1600 sprint medley relay that placed third at Raleigh Relays in 3:35.34… Placed third in the 100 in 10.71 at the High Point Verklasse Meeting… Placed second at the MEAC Outdoor Championships with a wind-aided time of 20.82 in the 200…Ran a wind-aided 21.27 and finished second in the preliminary heat at the MEAC meet…Qualified for the first round of the NCAA East region meet in the 200.
High School: Attended Howard High School and competed on the varsity level for three years under coaches Vonzell Barker and Dave Glenn…Earned first-team all-metro, second-team all-metro and all-county honors over his junior and senior seasons…Won the indoor state championship in the 55 meters in 6.4 seconds…His personal record in the 100 meters is 10.7, his PR in the 200 is 21.8 and he holds a personal best 35.7 in the 300 meters…Was also a football player where he earned all-conference honorable mention.
