He was announced as a defensive end on Signing Day in 2025 … Moved to tight end before becoming an offensive lineman during August Camp … Started his high school years at Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC, before transferring to Vance County High … Practiced once with the junior varsity at Vance before getting a promotion to play varsity …  His high school teammate was University of South Carolina recruit Taeshawn Alston … The two did battle routinely in practice with Ragland playing offensive tackle and Alston serving as an edge rusher … Won MVP at Fayetteville State’s Big Man Football Camp … Has a family legacy at A&T, with his brothers, sisters, mother, and stepmother having all attended the campus on the East Side of Greensboro.  

High School: Played varsity high school football at Vance County High under head coach Aaron Elliott … Played offensive tackle and defensive end for the Vipers and earned back-to-back all-conference honors … As a senior, he compiled 26 tackles and forced a fumble … Earned All-Region honors as a senior and won the team’s Coach’s Award in 2025 … Made the honor roll from 2023-25.

Personal: Full name is Camarion Ragland … He is the son of Kyle Ragland and was born on June 20, 2007 … Has seven siblings … He is a business administration major … Plans to own his own business, following in the footsteps of his mother … Also plans to be role model and a mentor in his community … Says he is always looking for business opportunities and internships … Favorite book is “The Hate You Give” … Favorite television show is The Blacklist, and he enjoys eating lasagna.
