Another outstanding talent that head coach Shawn Gibbs brought over from his time as head coach at Fort Valley State … Has the athleticism and speed to be effective in pass coverage and the intensity to make a difference as a tackler in the open field and at the line of scrimmage … Was off to a great start as an Aggie in 2025 before an injury derailed his season … Could be the staple of a revamped defense in 2026 … Should have two years of eligibility remaining.

2025 Season (A&T): Started all four games he played … Made 21 tackles, including 16 unassisted before an injury sidelined him for the season … Also made two tackles for loss and a pass breakup before getting sidelined … Had a spectacular debut in an Aggies uniform at Tennessee State on Aug. 30 when he made eight tackles, including seven unassisted tackles and two tackles for loss in A&T’s tough 24-21 loss … In A&T’s 33-30 double overtime, he made five tackles, including four unassisted and broke up a pass.

2024 Season (Fort Valley State): Started all nine games he played … Made 19 tackles, including 13 unassisted tackles and four tackles for loss … Also had two pass defenses that included an interception … Had a fourth-quarter interception in a 42-20 win at Morehouse … Posted four tackles in FVSU’s 48-14 at Edward Waters.

2023 Season (Fort Valley State): Started all 11 games he played … Had a superb freshman season at Fort Valley … Made 43 tackles, including 24 unassisted and two tackles for loss … Also recorded five pass breakups, four interceptions and nine pass defenses … Made four tackles and intercepted two passes in FVSU’s 49-21 win at Allen on Sept. 30 … One of his interceptions in the game was returned 16 yards for a first-quarter touchdown … A week in a 31-9 win over Kentucky State, he made six tackles, including four unassisted … Had seven tackles, including one for loss in a 37-26 win over the Virginia-Lynchburg on Oct. 28 … Had another seven-tackle performance in a 13-7 loss the following week at Albany State.

High School: Played high school football at Brooks County High School under legendary head coach Maurice Freeman …Helped Brooks County win the 2021 Class 2A state title in Georgia as a junior … Made 76 tackles on the season, including 14 tackles for loss … Also had two interceptions and two sacks during the season … Also helped Brooks County reach the state final in 2019 and 2020, but lost both games … Made 262 career tackles, including 42.5 tackles for loss …. Also had five career sacks and six career interceptions … Also spent significant time at the running back position during his prep career.
