Breakdown: Came on to the scene in 2010 as a walk-on and made an immediate difference out of Southern Durham High School...His success story included starting two games toward the end of the season...Will likely play a key role on special teams again this season...Comes into this season as the No. 2 left cornerback behind first-team All-MEAC performer D'Vonte Graham...Has tremendous athleticism with a 37-inch vertical and 4.45 speed in the 40-yard dash.

2010 Season: Played in nine games with three starts at the cornerback position...Made 14 tackles including 10 solo tackles...Entered into the starting lineup because of injuries in the Aggies secondary...Made his first career start against Florida A&M on Nov. 6 and finished the game with four tackles...Started two weeks later against S.C. State and had four stops, including one stop behind the line of scrimmage.  

High School: Played his career at Southern Durham, where he played many different roles for the Spartans including kickoff return, running back, receiver and cornerback...Was an All-PAC-6 performer as a senior and led the Spartans to the PAC-6 conference championship...Played in the North Carolina East-West All-Star game at Jamieson Stadium in Greensboro.
