Biography

 

Destane' Stokes adds to a nice collection of young sprinters on the North Carolina A&T women's track and field team...She has excellent skills as an indoor and outdoor runner.

High School: Competed in varsity track and field for four years at Western High School under Alicia Williams...Earned the 2010 3A Indoor State Championship (Md.) in the 100 meters...Also won the indoor state title the same season, and captured the 4x100 meter relay Class 3A state outdoor title in 2009.

Personal: Full name is Destane' Stokes...She is the daughter of Caroyln Mayers and was born June 13, 1993...She is a finance major who enjoys shopping...Stokes wants to work in the business industry, and she likes working with numbers...She wants to one day share the knowledge she gains from being at N.C. A&T.
