He brings a strong right arm to the Aggies pitching staff … Should earn multiple strikeouts with his lively fastball … A&T gets Blantz to Aggieland from a solid junior college program at Harford … Harford went 48-9 overall and 22-4 in conference play in 2022, Blantz’s last season there.  

Harford Community College: Played two seasons at Harford Community College … Made 14 appearances with two starts as a freshman … Posted a 6.75 ERA with 27 strikeouts, 17 walks and opponents hit only .138 against him in 18.2 innings pitched … He went 2-1 and earned two saves … As a sophomore, he made 12 appearances with 10 starts … Posted a 5.20 ERA with 64 strikeouts and 36 walks and opponents only hit .191 against him … He went 7-2 with one save.  

High School: Played high school sports at Lampeter-Strasburg, where he was a football and baseball standout … His travel team was the Keystone State Bombers.
