Ben Hall and his staff secured a big-time hitting threat in the lineup when they signed junior college transfer Alex Bibb … Can hit for average, power and possesses good speed on the base paths … Can also serve as an outfielder or first baseman … Played junior college baseball at Walters State where he led the Senators to the Junior College World Series … In two years at Walters State, he batted .320 with seven home runs, 39 RBI and 13 doubles … Also scored 44 times and had a .542 slugging percentage … Committed to the University of Kentucky out of high school.
 
2020 Season: Season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic … Before the season ended, Bibbs played and started in 14 games … Batted .294 with three doubles and four RBI … Also scored five runs and posted a .353 slugging percentage … Had his first career hit as an Aggie on Feb. 14 against George Mason as he reached on a single … Went 2-for-3 against George Mason with two runs scored and two RBI in a 12-2 Aggies win … On the same day, went 2-for-4 against Butler in a 2-1 loss … Thirteen of his starts came as the Aggies designated hitter and one start came as the Aggies first baseman.
 
2019 Season (Walters State): Played in 40 games for the Senators where he batted .325 with six home runs, 21 RBI and an impressive .627 slugging percentage … Also recorded a .900 fielding percentage … Had a 3-for-3 day in a 17-1 win over Kings University where he also scored four times and had a double … Posted four RBI and went 2-for-3 with three runs scored in a 24-3 win on April 11 against Young Harris College JV … Went 3-for-4 with four runs scored, two RBI and a home run in a 22-3 win over Montreat College JV.
 
2018 Season (Walters State): Played in 30 games for the Senators where he batted .314 with one home run, 18 RBI and six doubles … Also scored 22 times and posted a .423 slugging percentage … Also posted a .920 fielding percentage.
 
High School: Played his high school baseball at Central Hardin under head coach Todd Thompson … Led the team to district championship and regional runner-up status as a junior and senior … Earned second-team All-State as a senior …  Earned three letters in baseball … Was a two-time Region 5, 6A State Runner-up as a sophomore and junior in football … Followed state runner-ups with the region title and state semifinal during his senior season …  Was a Western Kentucky University Scholar of the Week … Also earned all-state academic honor roll accolades.
