2013-14 Season: Saw action in six games as a freshman … Scored a season-high three points over rival N.C. Central on Feb. 22.

High School: Played four varsity seasons at East Forsyth High School under head coach Doug Lakis…Led the Eagles to their first state tournament berth in 10 years in 2012…Helped the Eagles return to states in 2013…Finished in the top 25 of her class with a 3.8 non-weighted grade point average and 4.2 weighted GPA.

Personal: Full name is Mia Zhane’ Rudd…She is the daughter of Janice and Delaney Rudd…She has two siblings, Tierra and Kiana…She was born August 10, 1995…She is a nutrition/dietetics major…Plans to be married with children and a good job after graduation…Chose her major to learn how to eat better and to help others improve their eating habits…Father was a four-year letterman in men’s basketball at Wake Forest University…He later played for the Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers…Mother is a graduate of North Carolina A&T.
