2011-12 Season:  Played in 31 games with six starts...Averaged 2.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists and totaled 23 steals...Scored a season-best 10 points on Feb. 27 at Savannah State to help Patricia Cage-Bibbs win her 500th career game....Posted a season-high four offensive rebounds on March 5 in a MEAC Tournament win over Morgan State in the first round...Collected a season-best six defensive rebounds on Jan. 23 at Coppin State...Led the team in assists three times and in steals twice during the season.

High School: Lyons played four varsity seasons at Largo High School ...As a sophomore, she averaged 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 4.0 steals per game...Named first-team Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A, first-team Prince George's County Gazette and honorable mention in the All Met-Washington Post...Also earned All-Tournament honors at the IABOO Tournament and earned the team's MVP award...As a junior, Lyons was a team captain, and she averaged 19.5 points per game, 5.0 rebounds a game, 6.0 assists per game and 4.0 steals per game as she led Largo to the Region 3A Championship...Was named second-team All Met-Washington Post, first-team Prince George's County Washington Post and first-team Prince George's County Gazette...Won Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A Player of the Year as a junior...As a senior and team captain, led her high school team to the Region3A and Prince George's County Championship title...Averaged 20.1 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game, 6.0 assists per game and 4.0 steals per game ...In addition, she won her second consecutive Player of the Year Award for Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A...Named second-team All Met-Washington Post, first-team Prince George's County Washington Post, first-team Prince George's County Gazette for the second straight year...Also competed in volleyball and softball her freshman, sophomore and senior seasons...Was the class valedictorian.

Spent the 2011 summer as an intern in the information technology department at George Washington Medical Faculty Associates, and spent the 2012 summers traveling and coaching a summer basketball team...Her other interests include reading and traveling...Her favorite book is Outliers, her favorite television shows are Sports Center and anything on USA Network, and her favorite food is baked chicken with lots of hot sauce.
