Comes to North Carolina A&T with the reputation of being an athletic guard with a good attitude...Head coach Cy Alexander says he is very coachable...Can play both guard positions, but will likely spend most of his time as a shooting guard...Was an early signee for A&T.

High School: Played varsity basketball all four years at Brookhaven High School...Played under head coach Drew Williams, who is an Aggie alumnus...Was the leading scorer on his Club Ohio AAU team and made the top-20 All-Star Game at the Buckeye Prep Shootout...MVP honors came his way at the 10^th annual Capital Transportation All-Star Game...Prep Spotlight Magazine ranked him among the top 100 players in the state of Ohio...

Earned first-team all-conference, all-district and all-region as a senior...Was an honorable mention all-state selection during his senior season, and as a junior, he was named second-team all-conference...Also played football.

Personal: Full name is Khalid King...He is the son of Jamesion King and Stacey Hough...Has one sibling, Jovan and was born on Nov. 19, 1993...Majors in sports medicine and plans to own his own business, while hoping to stay around sports as a physical therapist... Enjoys reading, playing chess and shopping...Says the best thing about being at A&T is the Southern Hospitality and southern cooking.
