GREENSBORO — The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) mapped out the North Carolina A&T women's basketball road to defending its CAA regular-season crown by releasing the full conference schedule. The release completes A&T's 30-game schedule for the 2025-26 season.

It will be a champion versus champion matchup in Corbett Sports Center to start the conference slate. The Aggies, the CAA regular-season winners, will host the CAA tournament victors, the William & Mary Tribe, on January 2. The Tribe spoiled A&T's conference tournament run by defeating the Aggies 74-66 in the quarterfinals.

The payback pursuit will continue into the second matchup of the opening weekend on Sunday, January 4, when the Aggies host Monmouth at Club Corbett. The Hawks snapped an early eight-game winning streak to deliver the Aggies their first of only three conference losses last season. The Hawks have won the previous two matchups, escaping with a five-point victory in New Jersey last season and a four-point double-overtime win in Greensboro, NC, in February 2024.

After opening the conference season at home, the Aggies will make a trip to the northeast portion of the country, facing Northeastern (January 9) and Stony Brook (January 11) before hosting longtime HBCU rival Hampton on January 18. Two weeks later, to kick off Black History Month on February 1, the Aggies travel to Hampton, Va., for the rematch.

Local rival Elon and one of the better teams in the CAA, the College of Charleston Cougars, highlight the Aggies' next weekend road trip. Charleston features reigning CAA Player of the Year Taryn Barbot. The Cougars finished a game behind the Aggies last season with a 14-4 conference record.

A&T's remaining home conference games include Towson (January 30), a rematch against Elon (February 6), Hofstra (February 15), a rematch against Northeastern (February 20), and UNC Wilmington (March 5). Senior Day will be a fun one when the Cougars and the Aggies face off in a rematch on Sunday, March 7.

After the Hampton road game, the Aggies' remaining away games are against Campbell (February 8), the first game of the season against UNCW (February 13), a return matchup at Monmouth (February 27), and a trip to Philadelphia to face the Drexel Dragons on March 1.

The CAA Women's Basketball Championship Tournament will be held in the CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C., March 11-15.
