GREENSBORO – The North Carolina A&T baseball program released its 53-game 2025 schedule, which includes four opponents from the ACC, a rare three-game series against crosstown rival UNC Greensboro and, of course, the usual difficult foes from the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA).

Ben Hall enters his 11th season as the head baseball coach at A&T and will start the 2025 season with perhaps the largest roster turnover year-to-year in his tenure in Aggieland. The Aggies will welcome 22 newcomers, so a portion of the fall was a getting-to-know-you session.

"With so many players, the objective this fall was getting them familiar with each other," said Hall. We instilled expectations day in and day out for our program, created consistent work habits, and taught the brand of baseball we want to play."

The Aggies will put their new-look team on the diamond for a regular season for the first time on Valentine's Day (February 14). A&T's opening three-game series against former Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) opponent Delaware State at War Memorial Stadium. It will be the first three-game series between the two HBCUs since 2020. A&T's other three-game non-conference home series is against Marist College on February 28-March 1.

The University of North Carolina (UNC) Tar Heels will be the first of four ACC opponents the Aggies will face during the 2025 season. A&T will return to Boshamer Stadium for the third straight season on Tuesday, February 18. A&T defeated the Tar Heels at Boshamer in 2022.

After taking on the Tar Heels, Hall will return to his alma mater, Clemson University, to have the Aggies participate in the Clemson Baseball Invitational. The Aggies will face the Clemson Tigers at noon on Saturday, February 22. They will play a morning game against VCU the next day before playing the Tigers again, starting at 2 p.m.

A&T's other two games against ACC competition are at Duke on March 4 and at N.C. State on March 11.

Baseball's student-athletes will spend the back end of their spring break in Florida as the Aggies start a three-game series at Jacksonville University on March 7. A week later, beginning on March 14, the Aggies will start an uncommon three-game series against UNCG at UNCG Baseball Stadium.

The two Gate City Division I baseball programs typically play twice per season, with one game apiece at each other's facility during the season. It will mark A&T's final non-conference three-game series.

A&T's remaining single-game midweek games at War Memorial Stadium are against Radford (March 19), Winthrop (April 1), Davidson (April 8) and High Point University (April 15). The remaining non-conference midweek road games are against Winthrop (March 25), HPU (April 9), Radford (April 22) and Davidson (April 29).

CAA play begins with a three-game series at UNC Wilmington on March 28. The Aggies will also have a three-game CAA road series at Delaware (April 18-20), at Elon (April 25-27) and at Northeastern (May 15-17).

The Aggies first CAA home series against the Stony Brook Seawolves, who will visit War Memorial for the first time. Also coming to The War from the CAA are Monmouth (April 11-13), Campbell (May 2-4) and Charleston (May 9-11).

A&T hopes to qualify for the CAA tournament for the first time since being a part of the league, starting in 2023. Charleston will host the May 21-24 CAA tournament at Patriots Point in Charleston, SC. The top six teams from the 12-team league qualify for the conference tournament.
