GREENSBORO – The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) released its postseason baseball honors on Tuesday.

Following the CAA's announcement, North Carolina A&T slugger Bruce Wyche made All-CAA honorable mention after building on a strong freshman campaign with an even better sophomore season. Wyche made the CAA's All-Rookie Team in 2025 after batting .265 with nine home runs, 29 RBIs, 18 extra base hits, seven doubles, and an .860 on-base-plus slugging percentage (OPS).

In recognition of his performance, Wyche also earned CAA Rookie of the Week once, and he led the team in runs scored (47). Those numbers propelled Wyche to preseason all-conference honors from the league going into the 2026 season.

Living up to those preseason expectations, Wyche batted .333 with four home runs, 35 RBIs, 22 extra base hits, 16 doubles, and a .918 OPS. Wyche led the Aggies in OPS, batting average, doubles, triples (2), RBIs, slugging percentage (.508), and on-base percentage (.410). He was also hit by a pitch a team-leading 10 times, and he ranks fifth in the CAA in doubles.

Since Wyche's arrival, A&T has played in 104 games, with Wyche appearing in and starting 102 of them. Over that span, he bats .298 with 13 home runs, 40 extra base hits, 64 RBIs, 23 doubles, and an .889 OPS.
