Joshua Iseah made 13 tackles against Campbell on Nov. 18.

GREENSBORO – SI.com (Sports Illustrated), via its affiliate, FCS Football Central, released its Freshman All-American team with North Carolina A&T defensive end Joshua Iseah (6-foot-2, 240, defensive end/linebacker, Charlotte, N.C., Independence High School) earning a spot on the team. Iseah is one of nine freshmen from the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Football Conference to make the team and one of 12 from an HBCU to get recognized.

"Congratulations to Josh on being named an SI Freshman All-American. It is a tremendous honor for him. Josh is physically gifted, loves to compete, and, most importantly, is a great student. He's the kind of young man we are building our program's foundation around."

Iseah is a versatile player. The Aggies were able to play at linebacker and defensive end this season. He made 59 tackles to rank fourth on the team and 36th in the CAA Football Conference, posting 5.36 tackles per game. Iseah also had four tackles for loss, two sacks, four quarterback hurries, forced a fumble and recovered one while playing all 11 games and making seven starts.

Iseah made his first career start in his first collegiate game at UAB on Thursday, Aug. 31, where he made eight tackles, including a half tackle for loss. In the Aggies' season finale against Campbell on Saturday, Nov. 18, he started at outside linebacker. He posted his first career double-figure tackle game with 13, including seven unassisted and one for loss.
