NORTH CAROLINA A&T STORYLINES
- Head coach Tarrell Robinson is in his 11th season and is the school's all-time winningest coach in program history with 193 wins. He set the record at South Carolina State after a 68-49 victory in Orangeburg, S.C., for his 192nd win.
- Robinson has a 193-111 overall record and has made three NCAA Tournament appearances, three postseason WNIT appearances, three conference tournament championships and four regular-season conference championships.
- Robinson is looking to become the third A&T basketball coach – men or women – to reach 200 wins at A&T, joining men's basketball coaches Cal Irvin and Don Corbett.
- In addition, he has a 100-27 record in Corbett Sports Center. The Aggies 89-38 win against Mid-Atlantic Christian on Nov. 15 gave Robinson his 100th win in Corbett Sports Center, the first women's coach to reach the milestone.
- Maleia Bracone has scored double figures in all seven games and is the only Aggie to accomplish that feat.
- Jordyn Dorsey had a career day against Cincinnati. She led the team with a game-high 21 points on 9-for-15 shooting. The field goals made and attempted were also career highs.
- The game against Johnson & Wales will be the last home non-conference game for the Aggies. A&T is 2-1 inside Corbett Sports Center this season.
SCOUTING THE JOHNSON & WALES WILDCATS
- Johnson & Wales has won its last two games, including a 72-52 victory against Bob Jones last Thursday.
- The Wildcats started the season strong winning the first two games against Morris and Virginia University of Lynchburg before losing to Voorhees College.
- Johnson & Wales did play Division I school Queens in an 89-61 exhibition loss before the start of the season.
- Tanaeschia Dorsey leads the team with 17.1 points per game. She dropped a career-high 33 points on 11-for-22 shooting in the win over Vorhees.
- Jordan Durant averages 16.7 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. She had 18 points and 17 points against South Carolina Faith A&M on Nov. 15.
- Joyiah White averages 10.6 rebounds to lead the team. She has reached double-figure rebounds five times this season.
- Jill Dunn is in her second season leading the Wildcats. Johnson & Wales went 19-5 overall and 9-1 in the conference to earn the second seed in the West last season.
- The Wildcats lost in the semifinals to Clinton, the top seed in the West.
- They also received a bid to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) tournament, where their run ended with a 69-67 overtime loss to Penn State-Schuylkill in the semifinals.
The Series
- Their only meeting came on Nov. 9, 2019, when A&T dominated Johnson & Wales 121-61. A&T led 63-18 at halftime.
