NORTH CAROLINA A&T AGGIES STORYLINES
  • The Aggies will play Greensboro College at an earlier time on Saturday. The game was initially scheduled for 7 p.m. before A&T officials moved the game to 2 p.m., just before the Thanksgiving holiday.
  • Despite the time change, the Aggies still hope to build on an impressive performance from Tuesday night, where six players scored double figures.
  • On Tuesday night, A&T compiled 14 dunks and 15 3-pointers in a 109-57 blowout win over NAIA St. Andrews.
  • The Aggies have now scored 100 points in back-to-back homes at Corbett Sports Center, marking the first time the program has accomplished that feat since moving to Corbett in 1978.
  • The last time the Aggies had back-to-back 100-point ballgames came during the 1970-71 season.
  • A&T has scored 209 points in two home games, shooting 52.3 percent while holding their opponents to 38.9 percent shooting.
  • A&T has been excellent at shooting 3-pointers in Corbett early in the season. The Aggies have made 32 3-pointers in two home games, connecting on 43.2 percent of those threes.
  • A&T's 3-pointers this season have come mainly from two players -- senior Demetric Horton (18) and sophomore Kam Woods (17) have combined to hit 35 of the Aggies 63 3-pointers thus far.
  • Woods leads the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in 3-pointers per game (3.40), and Horton is third (3.00).
  • Meanwhile, Horton is third in the league in 3-pointers made and Woods ranks fifth.
  • Interim head coach Phillip Shumpert has not coached A&T's previous three games because of an illness.
  • In his place, Shumpert's assistants Bruce Martin and Sam Hunt have shared the head coaching duties, with Martin leading the team against Gardner-Webb and St. Andrews and Hunt leading the team against Wofford.
  • Shumpert took over on an interim basis in August. Shumpert has coached on many levels, including high school, Division II, junior college and Division I, and has head coaching experience on the junior college level for five years.
  • The Aggies return to Corbett, where they are 47-13 (.783) in their last sixty games.
  • Greensboro College is a Division III school approximately 2 ½ miles from A&T's campus. The Aggies have played 16 schools that are Division III or NAIA since 2014-15. The Aggies are 15-1 in those games, averaging 93.1 points. A&T's average margin of victory in those games is 32.8.
  • A&T's lone loss over the past 10 years to a Division III or NAIA came against Roanoke College on Nov. 18, 2015. Roanoke defeated A&T 94-87.
