NORTH CAROLINA A&T (16-8, 8-4 BIG SOUTH):Â The Aggies went 1-1 last weekend with a 3-2 loss at Campbell Friday and a 3-1 win at Hampton Saturday.
The next win by the Aggies or a Charleston Southern and a Gardner-Webb loss puts A&T in the Big South Conference tournament, Nov. 19-21. Only the top-six teams receive a bid to the tournament.
A&T is tied for third with USC Upstate and Winthrop in the conference standings. The Aggies are four matches up over Charleston So. and GWU, who are tied for seventh.Â
Naiya Sawtelle (6-0, FR, outside hitter, Stuart, Fla.) averaged 3.44 kills, 3.67 digs and 0.44 blocks per set and posted two double-doubles last week. Andrea Laboy-Rivera (5-5, SR, libero, Coamo, Puerto Rico) averaged 4.22 digs per set.      Â
Head coach Hal Clifton is 71-51 (.582) since 2017. He is 42-12 (.778) in conference play over that same span. For the fifth straight season, A&T will finish .500 or better under the leadership of Clifton. The Aggies are one win shy of having the most wins they have ever had under Clifton. Â
RADFORD HIGHLANDERS (5-19, 3-9 BIG SOUTH): The last time out, Radford dropped a hard-fought match 3-2 against Presbyterian in Radford, Va. Morgan Lawson leads the Highlanders in kills per set (2.23), and Login Williams is the team leader in assists per set (5.13).Â
Grace Green leads the team in digs per set (2.71), and Kennedi Johnson leads with 0.94 blocks per set.Â

THE SERIES:Â The Aggies snapped a six-match losing streak to the Highlanders when they won 3-2 at Radford earlier this season. Radford leads the series, 6-2.Â
