GREENSBORO – Redshirt junior Eboni Ross was named the MEAC defensive player of the week announced by the league on Monday evening.

Ross helped lead the Aggies to a 2-0 week as they topped Davidson 62-59 in an overtime game and defeated Howard 80-69 in the conference opener.

Against the Wildcats, Ross grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds along with a game-high 17 points. She also tossed in two blocks and a pair of steals. At Howard, Ross recorded a team-high seven boards along with two blocks a steal.

Throughout the week, Ross averaged 11.5 rebounds with 11.5 points to match.
