their last five games. Four of those
last five victories have been by double-figures, and the Aggies have defeated
their last two opponents by more than 20 points. The Aggies will be looking to extend their
winning streak to six games on Monday night against the Rattlers. The Aggies
defeated the Rattlers in Tallahassee, Fla., 73-52 on Jan. 14. In that contest, JaQuayla Berry and Tracy
King each posted a double-double, and Eboni Ross contributed a season-high 17
points. The Aggies held the Rattlers to

From the Coach
"Now we're one of the top teams so we've got to expect to
get everybody's best game."
A&T
head coach Tarrell Robinson after Saturday's 56-31 win over Bethune-Cookman
It's A "Lock": The Aggies are 5-0
in games when they have held their opponent to 20 or fewer points in the first
half. The Aggies are 5-1 in games when
they have held their opponent to 50 or fewer points in a game. A&T has held an opponent to under 35
total points twice this season (N.C. Central and Bethune-Cookman), which is the
first time they have done that since the 1990-91 season (Bennett College and Bethune-Cookman).
The
Opponent: The Rattlers are coming into Corbett Sports
Center following a 63-50 victory over N.C. Central on Saturday. The Rattlers
are led by junior guard Jasmine Grice, who is averaging 22.0 points per game,
which is second best in the MEAC. Junior
guard Kimberly Sparkman averages 14.8 points per game. Florida A&M is averaging 62.4 points per
game, but is allowing an average of 66.9 points to opponents. The Rattlers were picked to finish fourth in
the MEAC.
Potential
Gameday Star Power: North
Carolina A&T: Senior JaQuayla
Berry led the team with 17 points in Saturday's victory over Bethune-Cookman,
and posted a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds against Florida
A&M on Jan. 14. She has recorded
double-figures in the last five straight games.
Florida A&M: Jasmine
Grice has scored 20 or more points in 15 games this season, including six of
the last seven contests. She scored a
team-high 28 points on 12-for-31 shooting against the Aggies on Jan. 14. She'll be looking to lead the Rattlers again
against A&T on Monday.
The
Magic Number for A&T: 6: The Aggies are
looking for their sixth straight win on Monday, which would match their longest
winning streak from 2011-12. The longest
winning streak the Aggies have had in recent years is 11 consecutive games from
Jan. 9-Feb. 13 during the 2009-10 season, when the Aggies won the MEAC regular-season
championship with a 14-2 record. With seven
games remaining this season, the Aggies have a chance to match that conference
record.
FROM
THE NOTES:
The Wildcats shot 29 percent from the floor
in the game on Saturday, marking the eighth time this season that A&T has
held an opponent to below 35 percent shooting.
The Aggies are holding MEAC opponents to an
average of 52.0 points per game this season. Last year, MEAC opponents scored
an average of 63.1 points against the Aggies.
