MEDIA HOST

My name is Brian Holloway and I will be the media coordinator at the 2009 East Regional. My contact number is 336-328-6719. I just wanted to relay some essential information to everyone before you arrive on our wonderful campus.

CREDENTIAL PICK-UP

SID, coach and trainer credentials and parking passes will be inside the team packets. Media passes will be mailed out. If you would like your SID pass mailed to you, please indicate that on the credential application form. We will have our initial credential pick-up Wednesday evening from 5-6:30 inside the North Carolina A&T Alumni-Foundation Event Center located on Benbow Road. We will be at the Event Center until 6:30 p.m., on Thursday. Our credential pick-up area on Friday and Saturday will be in the lobby of the Bryan Fitness and Wellness Center. The Fitness and Wellness Center is located behind Irwin Belk Track. Someone will be at this location from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., both days. The Fitness and Wellness Center parking lot is a paid lot. If you are picking up your credential day of, you will have to pay to get into the parking lot.

PARKING

Media Parking area will be the Laurel Street parking lot. If you are traveling down East Lindsay after turning off of E. Wendover, turn left onto Laurel Street and there is a large parking area to your right. If you are coming down Laurel Street from downtown Greensboro, Laurel Street is on your right. Again, Laurel Street is a paid lot, so you need to have your parking pass before you enter.

MEDIA WORKROOMS

The press box and Gold Helmet Room inside Aggie Stadium have been designated as media workrooms. There are two working phone lines in the press box. Aggie Stadium is wireless. We will provide the wireless instructions in the press box and Gold Helmet Room. The Gold Helmet Room is the first room to the right when you enter Aggie Stadium from the front entrance. The hospitality area will be under the coaches' tent and inside the multipurpose room at the Fitness and Wellness Center.

RESULTS

We will provide the media with results throughout the day in the press box and Gold Helmet Room. There will also be results posted throughout the stadium. Results will be distributed or posted at least 30 minutes after each event to allow for protest. The two posting stations will be across from the Gold Helmet Room and the wall closest to the athletes' warm-up area across from the softball complex. We will provide result packets at the end of each night.

INTERNET RESULTS

INTERVIEWS

If you wish to interview an athlete, we ask you contact the student-athlete's sports information director on site. If the SID is not on site, contact Brian Holloway. Mr. Holloway will bring the athlete to the Gold Helmet Room located near the entrance of Aggie Stadium.

CONCLUSION
