ORANGEBURG, S.C. - The S.C. State volleyball team put together an efficient offensive performance on Sunday to defeat North Carolina A&T 3-0 (25-14, 17, 10) at Dukes Gymnasium.

The Aggies were led by Tatiana Cooper's six kills and six digs. Fellow freshmen Jeana Daniles and Elisha Boyer had four kills apiece.

The Bulldogs were led by Jarne Gleaton and Desire Waller. Gleaton ended the afternoon with 11 kills, while Waller finished with 10 kills.

Gray moved the Aggies to within one at 9-8 in the first set, but the Bulldogs went on an 11-2 run to put the set away. In the second, the Aggies found themselves down 19-7 before mounting a Cooper service ace moved them to within eight at 23-15.

A Waller kill put the Bulldogs up two matches as it ended the second set. S.C. State put the Aggies away with a 15-5 start. The Aggies dropped to 2-26 overall and 0-5 in the MEAC. The Aggies host S.C. Upstate Wednesday night at 6 from Corbett Sports Center.

The Bulldogs are 10-20 overall and 3-2 in the MEAC.
