A dynamic back row player who head coach Hal Clifton said has adds a wealth of experience to the court and is a tremendous person who represents the program well on and off the court … Displays a tremendous amount of speed and can cover a lot of space on the court … Her excellent serve receive will be an added benefit to our offense … Clifton says she has a fantastic attitude … Wants to win and she does everything she can to get the job done.

2015 Season: Played in 21 matches with three starts over a total of 74 sets played ... Totaled three kills with three errors on 16 total attacks ... Also recorded 130 digs (1.76 per set) and nine assists … Ranked third on the team in digs as a freshman … Posted a season-high 15 digs in a four-set victory at S.C. State on Nov. 1 … Recorded 14 digs at N.C. Central on Sept. 25 … Had another double-figure digs match against S.C. State with 11 in a three-set victory on Oct. 4.

High School: Spent two varsity seasons under head coach Len Palashack at Woodson High School where she led them to the regional semifinals for two straight years …Was also a captain of the varsity team and was a three-time second-team all-conference selection throughout her high school career … She was also awarded the 2014 Woodson High School Cavalier Award and was selected to play with the Under Armour Advanced team in Puerto Rico … Played club volleyball for the Vienna Elite under head coach Heriberto Santiago … In 2013, Rivera’s squad won a regional tournament and received a bid to compete at nationals.

Personal: Full name is Keniah Liz Rivera Santiago … She is the daughter of Lizbeth and Heriberto Santiago …She has three siblings, Sanneri, Shaelier, and Jeriel… She was born on September 2, 1997 and is a psychology major… Plans on completing her Ph.D.  in psychology after graduation … Her other interests are singing and dancing…Her favorite television show is “Scandal”, “How To Get Away With Murder” and “CSI” … Says the best thing about the major she has chosen is that she can help people in many ways and make a difference in people’s life … Her most prized possession is her family and faith in God.
