2010 Season: Evans competed in 99 sets over 32
matches and made 29 starts....Ended the season with 117 kills, two assists, eight
service errors, 126 digs and 19 blocks... Led the team in attack percentage in
2010, posting a .092 average ...Posted a season-high eight kills on Oct. 12
against Gardner-Webb...Had a season-high five blocks on Sept. 29 at
Elon...Totaled a season-high seven digs on Aug. 27 against Appalachian State
and on Aug. 28 against UNC Wilmington.
2009 Season: Played in 19 games over 10 matches
without a start as a freshman...Averaged 0.3 blocks per game...Played a
season-high four games against Norfolk State on Oct. 23...Had one kill in the
match on two attacks...Played in three games against S.C. State on Oct.
25...Finished with one kill, two service aces and one block assist.
High School: Played four varsity seasons at Webb
High School...Academic excellence included National Honors Society and National
Technical Honors Society...Named to the academic all-conference team four
times...Received Most Improved, Most Valuable, Best Defense and Offensive MVP
awards during her career...Earned all-conference honors three times...Led Webb
to four Carolina 6 3-A Conference Championships...Also led Webb to a runner-up
