North Carolina A&T

Tisheri Leonard joined the North Carolina A&T sports medicine staff in 2019. She serves as the athletics trainer for men’s basketball and co-ed cheerleading. Prior to arriving at A&T, Leonard was the head athletics trainer and senior woman administrator at Bluefield State College of West Virginia. She provided care for ten NCAA Division II sports in addition to being the staff sponsor for SAAC. Leonard has also had experiences working with the Greensboro Swarm, New York Liberty, and USASOC.

Leonard earned her Masters of Science in athletics training from the UNC Greensboro in 2017. She graduated from Shippensburg University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in exercise science. Leonard resides in Greensboro, but is a native of York, Pa.
