Signed with North Carolina A&T out of Scotland High School … Returns to Aggieland after earning first-team All-MEAC honors as a defensive back his junior season … Has speed and helped the Aggies on special teams as a returner … He is a part of head coach Rod Broadway’s first recruiting class … Enters his junior season with 35 tackles, 12 passes defenses and one interception … Developed into one of the top tacklers on the team as a junior. Has 98 tackles, 23 pass defenses, and six interceptions in his career.
 
2012 Season: Played in 11 games with three starts … Got his first start at cornerback to replace starting left cornerback Deji Olatoye who moved to free safety to replace of an injured Isaiah Martin. Finished the season with a total of 23 tackles, including 14 unassisted tackles, four pass breakups and nine kickoff returns.

2013 Season: Started and played in 11 games… Made 13 tackles, including 11 unassisted … Had two pass breakups, three pass defenses and one interception… Had four tackles, one pass breakup and a 91-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the season opener against Appalachian State … The Aggies would go on to upset Appalachian State 24–21, resulting in A&T's first win over the Mountaineers since 1993 … Ranked 27^th in the nation and fourth in the MEAC in yards per kickoff return (24.8).

2014 season: Started and played in 12 games … Made a career-high 62 tackles, including 46 unassisted and two tackles for loss … Also totaled 11 pass defenses and five interceptions … Ranked fifth on the team in total tackles … Led the Aggies to a share of the MEAC title … Named first-team All-MEAC as a defensive back … Ranked 15^th nationally and second in the MEAC in interceptions per game (0.4) … Ranked 13^th nationally and second in the MEAC in pass defenses per game (1.3) … In the MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Orlando, Fla., against Alabama A&M, he returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown … Had nine tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and five pass breakups in A&T’s 17-12 win over Elon on September 13 … Led the Aggies with six tackles and returned an interception six yards in a 59-0 win over Chowan.
