Had an outstanding first season as an Aggie after transferring from East Carolina in 2012…Will enter the season as the second-fastest football/track and field dual athlete in the country…Has also competed in indoor (one season) and outdoor track and field (two seasons) for the Aggies, As a track athlete is a two-time NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round qualifier…Earned All-American honors in the 100 meters after qualifying for the NCAA championship final in 2014…He is also the reigning 60 (indoor) and 100-meter MEAC champion…Ran a 10.24 in the 100 to qualify for the NCAA final, breaking the school record…Also qualified for the NCAA regional in the 400 meter relay and the 200… Was also one-fourth of the 4x100 meter relay team that made into the Championship of America college finals at the Penn Relays in 2013…As a football player, led the Aggies in receiving in 2013…Will likely enter the season as the Aggies No. 1 Y receiver…Will also play a role as a kick returner…Spent two years at East Carolina as a football and track and field athlete…Finished fifth in the 100 at the Conference USA outdoor championships in 2011…Placed second in the 60 meters at Penn State with a personal-best 6.83…His 360-pound bench press is the best among Aggie receivers…His 20 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press is also a team high for receivers… An African-American studies major, Lawrence earned a 3.0 grade point average during the 2012-13 academic school year.

2013-14 Season: Played in 11 games with seven starts…Made 38 receptions for 403 yards and three touchdowns…Carried the ball seven times for 58 yards rushing and two touchdowns…Returned nine kickoffs for 188 yards…Led the team in receptions…Led the Aggies in receptions, receiving yards,  receiving touchdowns and yards per game (36.6)…Was second on the team in all-purpose yards with  649 yards…Had a breakout game against Elon on Sept. 14…Made 10 receptions for 148 yards, including a season-high 38 yard reception and a game-clinching 27-yard reception on 3^rd-and-3 in the fourth quarter as the Aggies defeated the Phoenix 23-10…Made four receptions for 48 yards and scored on a 38-yard rushing touchdown thanks to an end-and-around play as the Aggies defeated Howard 27-19 on Sept. 27…Returned the opening kickoff 60 yards against S.C. State in Atlanta on Oct. 5…Also scored on a 25-yard touchdown pass from Lewis Kindle in the fourth quarter as the Aggies came up short, 29-24 at the Georgia Dome. 

High School: Captured the 2009 North Carolina 4A state title in the 55-meter dash ... Moved on to take the national high school title in the 60-meter dash....Earned All-PAC-6 honors as a senior football player.
