High School: Played four varsity seasons at Dudley High School in Greensboro…Started three years for the Panthers where he earned All-Area, all-conference and defensive MVP honors…Played kicker, punter, linebacker, fullback and tight end during his career…Ranked third in the region for linebackers at the National Underclassmen Combine…Also participated in track and field, where his two major events were shot put and discus…Academically, Jones was among the National Society of High School Scholars and was a member of the Mu Alpha Theta Mathematical Honor Society.
