Camden Young is a graduate assistant and assistant offensive line coach for the North Carolina A&T State University football program. Young joined the Aggies’ coaching staff in June 2024 and works closely with the offensive line on player development, game preparation, film study, and opponent scouting.
During his time at North Carolina A&T, Young has helped develop offensive linemen, including Korion Sharpe, who earned CAA all-conference second-team honors. His responsibilities include front and box identification from the coaching booth, halftime adjustments, scout team coordination, self-scouts, and individual and group film sessions and workouts with the offensive line.
Young also assists with weekly game preparation by developing cutups, pressure and coverage reports, run-game drawings, scouting reports, and opponent breakdowns. He also supports the program’s recruiting efforts through prospect evaluations and territory organization.
Before joining the Aggies, Young served as the offensive line coach at Ragsdale High School from 2022-24. During his time at Ragsdale, he helped develop 4A All-Conference defensive lineman Chance Pickard, who went on to play at North Carolina A&T. Young began his coaching career as an assistant offensive line coach at Hillside High School in Durham, N.C., in 2021.
Young attended North Carolina A&T State University and earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, Recreation & Sports Management in May 2025. He is pursuing a master’s degree in Data Analytics at North Carolina A&T. During his collegiate career, Young played on the football team and earned Dean’s List honors. He previously attended North Carolina Central University, where he played on the football team and earned Chancellor’s List honors.
