Outstanding young talent for William Crutchfield’s emerging tennis program … Had an effective first season as an Aggie showing the ability to be competitive in singles and doubles play … Was instrumental in getting a tennis court renovated in her hometown … Looks to improve in her stroke and volley game … Has been playing tennis since she was 11.

 

2019 Season: Played in eight singles matches and nine doubles matches during the season … Went 0-8 in singles and 0-9 during doubles matches … Played with Kaya Ellis in all nine doubles matches … Lost a competitive match to N.C. Central’s Polina Sakharova 6-1, 4-6 on March 13.

 

High School: Played high school tennis at Tarboro and Rocky Mount High Schools … Earned Rocky Mount Telegram All-Area honors as a sophomore and a senior after sitting out her junior season because she transferred high school … Posted a 22-0 record and led Tarboro to the Class 1A state championship … Defeated Gray Stone Day’s Emma Post to help Tarboro win the state title … Also won the state individual championship … Her journey included beating No. 1 seed in the regional final.
