Superb discus and shot put thrower who should develop into one of the best in the conference...She is an All-MEAC performer after finishing in the top eight in the shot put and discus at the 2011 MEAC Outdoor Championships at N.C. 2010-2011Season: Earned first place in the shot put with a distance of 42-feet, 1-inch at the 2011 International Friendship & Freedom Games...At the same event, she took second place in the discus with a distance of 119-feet, 2-inches and second place in the hammer with a distance of 125-feet, 6-inches...Placed fifth in the shot put with a distance of 43-feet, 6-inches and sixth in the discus with a distance of 127- feet, 4-inches at the 2011 MEAC Outdoor Championships...Threw 41-feet, 7-inch to place fourth at the Johnson C. Smith Invitational on April 9, 2011...
High School: Attended Western Branch High School where she was a member of the varsity track and field team for four years... Earned All-District honors in the shot put from 2007-2010, All- Region and All-State honors in the shot put from 2008-2010, earned the 2010 Outdoor State Championship and the 2009 Outdoor Nike Nationals Emerging Elite gold medal in the shot put.
