Head coach Hal Clifton said from the first day he met Sampson, she was all about being a North Carolina A&T Aggie … Bring flexibility along the net as a middle blocker and right side … Her versatility helps open up the offense … Has an excellent arm swing and is comfortable at the net as a blocker … She will bring brilliance to the court and the classroom. 

High School: Sampson played her high school volleyball at Klein … Played club volleyball for Texas Legacy Club … She is a four-time all-academic performer in addition to making first-team all-district four times as a player … Made the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-Star team … In 2022, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) added Sampson to their All-American Watch List, and the Houston Chronicle named Sampon to its All-Greater Houston preseason team … In 2020, she was named an AVCA phenom, and the following year she earned VYPE Media honorable mention accolades and Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA) Class 6A preseason first-team honors … -district four times and the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-Star team. The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) added Sampson to their All-American Watch List in 2022 … She also played girls tennis in high school. 

Personal: Sampson was born Oct. 18, 2004 … She is the daughter of Rebecca Heard and David Sampson … She has two siblings, Timothy Sampson and Keiana Heard … She will major in biology at A&T … Earned membership into the National Honors Society … She loves eating seafood; specifically crab boils, listening to SZA and watching NCIS … She is good at math, and enjoys reading and learning about history … Loves the beauty of A&T’s campus along with its rich history and culture.
