Biography

 

Juanita Weaver returns as one of the top throwers in the conference...She consistently ranks in the top 10 throwers in the discus and the shot put in the MEAC.

2010-2011 Season: Placed in the top ten in the women's shot put with a distance of 42-feet, 7 ½ inches at the 2011 MEAC Outdoor Championship...Placed third at the 2011 Johnson C. Smith Invitational with a throw of 41-feet, 7-inches...Finished second in the shot put at the 2011 Friendship & Freedom Games with a throw of 41-feet, 10 ½ inches...At the same meet, Weaver threw the discus 116-feet, 10-inches to place third...  

High School: Competed in varsity track and field for two years at Eleanor Roosevelt High School.

Personal: Full name is Juanita Weaver...She is an industrial engineering major who is on the Dean's List...Enjoys reading and playing basketball...Likes the challenge of being an industrial engineering major and student-athlete... She is the daughter of Barbara Weaver Thomas and was born June 15, 1991.
