The season opens with three early-season road tournaments, allowing A&T to face a variety of regional and national opponents, starting with the University of Maine on Friday, February 6, in the Heart of Georgia Classic hosted by Mercer University. It is the first of two games against the Black Bears. A&T will also face Mercer twice and Evansville once between February 6-8.

A&T's first of four home doubleheaders will occur on Wednesday, February 11, when the Aggies host Western Carolina starting at 1 p.m. A&T's other home doubleheaders are against South Carolina State University (SCSU) on Saturday, February 28, North Carolina Central University (NCCU) on Wednesday, March 11, and Morgan State University on Tuesday, March 17.

Sandwiched between A&T's home doubleheader against SCSU will be two games against another HBCU, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). A&T will face UMES at 1 p.m., Friday, February 27, at the Lady Aggies Softball Complex before facing UMES again at home on Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m.

Two days later, the Aggies will host ACC school Boston College in a 1 p.m. single game at the Lady Aggies Softball Complex on Tuesday, March 3.

After Western Carolina, the Aggies will play in back-to-back tournaments, starting with the annual HBCU Collegiate Softball Invitational in Covington, Georgia's Turner Lake Softball Complex, from February 13-15. The tournament features competition against fellow HBCUs Coppin State, Bowie State, Southern, Howard, and Texas Southern.

A&T's last non-conference tournament, hosted by the University of Memphis, takes place between February 20-22 at the Tigers Softball Complex in Memphis, Tenn. The Aggies will face Bradley, the University of Kentucky, Northern Illinois, Memphis, and Morehead State.

A doubleheader against the Presbyterian Blue Hose on Wednesday, February 25, will be the first of two road doubleheaders for A&T. The other will take place in Baltimore, Md., when the Aggies face Coppin State in a 1 p.m. twin bill on Wednesday, April 15.

Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play begins on Friday, March 6, at Elon in a three-day, three-game series at Hunt Softball Park. Elon and A&T will face each other again in a three-game series at the Lady Aggie Softball Complex, starting on Friday, April 30.

A&T's other CAA three-game home series are against UNC Wilmington (March 13-15), Hampton (March 27-29), and Drexel (April 10-12). The other CAA road series are against Charleston (March 20-22), Campbell (April 3-5), and Monmouth (April 24-26).

The 2026 CAA Championship Softball Tournament will take place March 6-9 at Elon University. The Aggies will try to qualify for the CAA tournament for the first time since 2023.
