GREENSBORO – North Carolina A&T opened the 2026 calendar year with 10 wins. The team then secured two more weekly honors from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). The MEAC announced Aggies sophomore Victorya White as its co-bowler of the week for January 17-23. Freshman Charisse Graham earned MEAC Rookie of the Week and joined her teammate on the weekly list.

White and Graham helped the Aggies go 10-3 during the 2026 Northeast Classic in New Castle, Del., at Bowlerama. This was their first tournament of the spring semester. They went 7-3 against teams ranked in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Top 25 poll.

In addition, A&T went 5-0 during Baker format on Friday and 2-1 during the best-of-seven bracket play in Baker format on Sunday. Those two Sunday wins came against 22nd-ranked Duquesne and 12th-ranked Sacred Heart, who hosted the tournament. The Aggies finished 10th overall behind White's 21.26 overall average per frame and her 86.6 overall fill percentage, which led the 229-player, 36-team field.

White earned second-team all-tournament honors from the Northeast Classic. She finished 19th with an average of 212.60 over five games of traditional team match play. She also posted a 58 percent strike percentage, a 92.9 percent nine-count percentage, and a 70.6 percent overall spare percentage. White secured her sixth career weekly honor. She has won MEAC Bowler of the Week four times and MEAC Rookie of the Week twice.

Meanwhile, Graham is enjoying her first-ever weekly award from the conference. Graham's freshman teammate Sara Giraldo has two rookie of the week accolades this season, showcasing the Aggies young talent.

Graham placed 57th at the Northeast Classic with a 194.0 average in five games. She recorded a season-high 225 total pinfall, helping the Aggies defeat Sacred Heart 931-921. Graham ranked fifth overall in average per frame (20.47). She ranked second in Baker average per frame (21.11) and third in overall fill percentage (85.8). Graham led all bowlers in overall spare percentage (73.6) and shared the lead in Baker-only fill percentage (88.1).

A&T canceled its trip to Arlington, Texas, for the annual Prairie View A&M Invitational due to the snow/ice storm that paralyzed much of the country. They are scheduled to return to the bowling alley, February 6-8, in the Flyer Invite hosted by Lewis University in Lockport, Ill.
