 AGGIES OVERVIEW: Campbell swept the Aggies last weekend at Lady Aggie Softball Complex. The Aggies will try to get back on track after going 1-7 in their previous eight games. Despite the recent setback against the Camels, the Aggies 12 wins thus far this season are one more than the 11 they won in 2021.Â
The last time the Aggies stepped outside of conference play, they did defeat Western Carolina, 6-5, with a walk-off two-run homer from freshman Dezianna Patmon.Â
HEATING UP:Â In five games last week, freshman Icess Tresvik led A&T with a .308 (4-for-13) batting average and added two runs scored, two home runs and four RBI. In the three-game series against Campbell, freshman Jailyn Tineo batted .375 (3-for-8) with two doubles.
WHO'S ON FIRE:Â In the circle, Mariah Headen picked up her first collegiate win in the second game of the doubleheader against Western Carolina and went 1-1 with a 2.23 ERA giving up five earned runs in 15.2 innings pitched with eight strikeouts during the week. Kayla Douglas pitched 12.0 innings in relief with a 3.50 ERA giving up six runs with seven strikeouts.
PHOENIX OVERVIEW:Â Elon has lost five of the last six games, all in the Colonial Athletic Association, including a sweep by Delaware last weekend. Rebecca Murray leads the team with a .379 batting average. Gabi Schaal leads with eight home runs and 35 RBI.Â
Schaal has a .301 batting average. McKenzie Weber leads the team with a 4-3 record and a 2.09 ERA in the circle.Â

- Tresvik received the first Big South Conference pitcher of the week in program history and is the third Aggie to receive a weekly honor joining freshman Patmon (2/22) and Tineo (2/28) with freshman of the week honors.
- At five games, Patmon has the current longest reach base safely streak for the Aggies. She also has the longest on the season at 10 games. Â
- The Aggies lead the Big South in triples with eight.Â
