Men's track and field's Morris Kimble earned the SAAC Leadership Award.
EAST GREENSBORO – North Carolina A&T held its annual athletics banquet Monday night at Corbett Sports Center. The big winners were the Aggies track and field programs and men's tennis. They won six awards each.
Among track and field's trophies were the Tarik Cohen Male Athlete of the Year (Randolph Ross, Jr.), Senior Female Athlete of the Year (Paula Salmon), Hall of Fame Award (Javonte' Harding) and the Catherine Bonner Award (Paula Salmon).
Men's tennis awards included Senior Male Athlete of the Year (Vasil Ivanov) and Male Rookie of the Year (Eder Blanco). They shared the Community Service Team of the Year with women's tennis.
