EAST GREENSBORO – Senior point guard Kameron Langley has been named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) men's basketball co-defensive player of the week for his efforts over the last two games against Florida A&M.
Langley smothered the Rattlers on the defensive end, averaging 4.5 steals in two games over the weekend. In Sunday's game, he swiped nine steals in just 22 minutes of action against FAMU. He has 45 steals on the year, good for second in the conference and 16th in the country.
Langley is also tied for sixth in the country in steals per game (2.65). In the two games, he also hauled in 10 rebounds, seven of those being defensive. Langley now has 219 career steals, seven shy of breaking the school record (Phillip Allen, 225).
