BALTIMORE, Md. – Junior guard
Kameron Langley posted career-highs in points (22) and assists (12) to lead the North Carolina A&T Aggies to a critical 76-70 win over Morgan State, Monday night at Hill Field House in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) men's basketball action.
"Grit," said acting head coach Will Jones. "That's grit. Coming in and playing a tough Morgan team. That's how you get it done for 40 minutes. Great leadership from Kam Langley. Big-time."
Langley continues to march toward the Aggies all-time assists record. He needs 74 more assists to break Thomas Griffis for the all-time record.

Ronald Jackson recorded his ninth double-double of the season with 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds.

Andre Jackson added 15 points to round out double-figure scoring for the Aggies.
With the Aggies leading 35-33 coming out of the break, N.C. A&T utilized an 13-2 run to jump ahead, 48-35 with under 16 minutes remaining. The Bears rallied, however, and made it a five-point game, 52-47, over the next few minutes. Clinging to a one-point advantage, 63-62, Langley took over.
He scored six of the Aggies final 13 points to lift the Aggies down the stretch. Langley had 13 second-half points. His layup with 29 seconds remaining gave the Aggies a 74-70 lead. It was
Ronald Jackson who had the game-clinching defensive rebound after a Stanley Davis miss with 14 seconds remaining.
"We're coming home for four. We need everybody in the building. We've got four games at home and we need to make sure we're there in loud numbers," said Jones. The Aggies have won 18 straight conference games at Corbett.
In the first half on Monday, N.C. A&T (8-12, 4-1 MEAC) struck first courtesy of an
Andre Jackson 3-pointer. Leading 12-8, the Aggies went on a quick 7-2 run to extend their advantage to nine, 19-10, their largest lead of the half. The Bears outscored N.C. A&T 23-16 for the remainder of the half to cut the Aggies lead to 35-33 heading into the locker room. The Aggies never trailed in the game and led for a total of 39:47.
The Bears (9-12, 3-3 MEAC) were led by Davis who scored 21 points. The Aggies will welcome Bethune-Cookman to the Corbett Center on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 4 p.m.
