GREENSBORO - The North Carolina A&T softball team partners with PetSmart to host their 2nd Annual Pet Food Drive.  The event will take place at PetSmart on 2641 Lawndale Drive Saturday, November 17, from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.  

The purpose of the community service project is to accept pet food donations that will be donated to the Guilford County Animal Shelter.  Last year's drive was named the biggest donation drive of the year by the Guilford County Animal Shelter. Expectations are high for year two of the PetSmart/A&T softball partnership.   

"Our team members and coaches have pets in their homes, so this event means more than just providing community service," said A&T softball coach Mamie Jones. "It's our way of giving back and being able to give back is a good feeling."
