Aggies Have a Tough Time Against Wofford's 'O'

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Wofford was on its game on Tuesday night as it defeated North Carolina A&T 3-0 (25-5, 11, 12) in volleyball action from Benjamin Johnson Arena. The Aggies dropped their 10th straight thanks to a Terrier offense that made only six attack errors in 52 attempts.

"Wofford was firing on all cylinders, and we had a very difficult time getting them out of system," said N.C. A&T head coach Hal Clifton. "We have to move on as we still have four matches in three straight days."

The Aggies, who have played away from home over their first 10 matches, will finally get to play in Corbett Sports Center on Thursday as they face The Citadel at 6 p.m. They then play in a three-match tournament at Davidson on Friday and Saturday before returning home on next Wednesday to face UNC Greensboro at 6 p.m.

"We are excited about playing at home," said Clifton. "We are looking forward to having a great crowd on hand as we battle The Citadel Bulldogs. We want a lot of blue and gold in the stands."

Junior Andrea Evans led the Aggies with four kills on Tuesday. Sophomore Chelsea Fox chipped in with 10 assists.
